What is Niel’s Chess?
More than just an enjoyable game… a meaningful investment in lifelong learning.
It’s chess with a quantum twist. The pieces can move classically or according to quantum rules, which opens up new and creative ways to win the game, see Rulebook inside. You will…
- Learn about the laws of quantum mechanics
- Experience quantum thinking
- Apply quantum effects on the chessboard to outsmart your opponent
- Prepare yourself for the future shaped by quantum technologies
Quantum mechanics in action
As a foundational theory of modern physics, quantum mechanics explains how the smallest things in nature, such as atoms and elementary particles, behave. They are invisible to the naked eye and follow some truly bizarre rules. For example, it is not uncommon for an atom to be in two places (or more) at the same time! Quantum technologies harness the laws of quantum mechanics and are expected to revolutionize our society in the next 10-15 years.
